As part of the Walmart family, Asda has a target to use 100% renewable energy. As the first step towards this long term goal we have set ourselves the target to use 30% renewable energy by 2020 (based on our 2015 usage).

At the moment we generate only a small amount of energy ourselves. As an everyday low cost business it is important that the renewable energy we use is at affordable prices. So, we're working with our partners to understand how we use energy as well as the options for renewable energy generation and procurement.
