New LED lighting systems installed in stores in order to save on energy costs and to provide a better quality of light. Project was installed on time and to budget and as well as the cost and energy savings provides a better quality of light and customer experience.
As part of the Walmart family, Asda has a target to use 100% renewable energy. As the first step towards this long term goal we have set ourselves the target to use 30% renewable energy by 2020 (based on our 2015 usage).
